10/11/12 Kelloggs Issues Voluntary Recall of Select Packages of Frosted Mini-Wheats Bite Size (Original) and Mini-Wheats Unfrosted (Bite Size)
BJ’s Wholesale Club has been informed by Kellogg’s that the company has issued a product recall of Kellogg’s Frosted Mini Wheats cereal due to the possible presence of flexible metal mesh fragments.
WHAT IS BEING RECALLED?
Two styles of Kellogg’s Mini Wheats cereal with the specific code dates and plant numbers noted below are part of the recall. Those include:
1. Frosted Mini Wheats 70-ounce (SKU 021117) with code dates from April 1, 2013 to July 16, 2013 and the plant code KB as the first two letters on the next line. These were sold from April 24- October 6.
2. Jumbo 30-Count Assortment Pack (SKU 014849) with code dates from April 13, 2013 to July 17, 2013 and the plant code FK as the first two letters on the next line. These were sold from June 12 - October 6.
WHAT SHOULD YOU DO IF YOU HAVE THE RECALLED PRODUCT?
Do not consume the product and discard it; please do not return the cereal to the Club. For a full refund, you may visit your local BJ’s Club where you purchased the cereal. If you have your receipt, bring it with you. If you don’t have your receipt, the Club can look it up for you.
