11/02/12 Perdue Foods Issues Voluntary Recall of Perdue Original Chicken Breast Nuggets
BJ's Wholesale Club has been informed by Perdue Foods that the company is voluntarily recalling 1,440 pounds of Perdue Original Chicken Breast Nuggets in cooperation with USDA because the label failed to declare that the product is prepared using an ingredient blend that contains milk. WHAT IS BEING RECALLED?
- Perdue Original Breaded Chicken Breast Nuggets (SKU 019835) with a sell-by date of December 16, 2012
BJ’s Wholesale Club’s records indicate that you may have purchased the product.
HOW TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE RECALLED PRODUCT:
First check the sell-by date. Only Perdue Chicken Breast Nuggets (3 pack) with a sell-by date of Dec. 16 were mislabeled. If you or people to whom you will serve the nuggets do not have a milk allergy, you don’t have to do anything.
If you or people to whom you will serve the nuggets have a milk allergy, please do not consume the product and dispose of this item in the garbage. You may go to the Club where you bought the product, and they will give you a refund. If you have your receipt or a letter or email from BJ's, bring that with you. If you don't have your receipt, the Club can look it up for you.
