Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. Announces Recall

BJ’s Wholesale Club has been informed by Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. (manufacturer of Yoder’s refrigerated ready-to-eat foods) that the company, in conjunction with the FDA, is issuing a voluntary recall of a number of its products (carried by retailers nationwide) due to the products potentially being contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes.   See release for more information.

BJ’s Wholesale Club sold three of the recalled products from 9/11/2013 – 10/30/2013 (Yoder’s 3lb Amish Potato Salad #002754; Yoder’s 3lb Macaroni Salad #002755 and Yoder’s 3lb Cole Slaw #002756). BJ’s also carries Yoder’s Home Style Mashed Potatoes, which are not a part of this recall at this time.

If you have the product, do not eat it.  Discard the product.  You can return your receipt to the club for a full refund.  If you do not have your receipt, the club at which you purchased the product can look it up for you.

If interested, see link for a full list of recalled products carried by other retailers.
