Based on the DC Comics character Shazam, this movie deals with Billy Batson, a 14-year-old who is chosen by a great wizard, the last of his Council. Billy then magically transforms into an adult superhero Shazam. He gains power; a lot of it but soon it gets put to the test against the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana.
