The combination seed, fertilizer, and soil improver can be used for growing a new lawn or overseeding an existing lawn in three steps: 1) prep the area 2) apply the seed, and 3) rake the seed into the soil. For best results, plant seed in the spring or fall when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 60 degrees F and 75 degrees F, or air temperatures between 65 degrees F and 85 degrees F. Water daily or as needed to keep the soil moist for at least three weeks or until seedlings reach two inches in height.
