Apple Cheddar Cheese Ball

These everyone's favorite cheese balls go well in any parties or gatherings. You can also enjoy these as an evening snack with tea or coffee.

In a large bowl, use a rubber spatula to blend the cream cheese with the maple syrup

Using the rubber spatula, fold in the chopped gala apples and sharp cheddar shreds

Refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight to make the mixture easier to handle and shape

Spread the chopped pecans on a large plate. With wet hands, shape the chilled cheese mixture into a ball shape, then roll in the chopped nuts

Wrap in plastic wrap, pressing the nuts into the cheese ball as you wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve

Arrange the cheese ball on a large plate or platter and serve with the crackers
