Fast and Easy Apple Chips

Thinly sliced apples are baked till they turn amazingly crispy. A healthy snack for the whole family that will soon get finished right after it comes on the serving plate.

With a sharp knife, slice the red delicious apples into very thin rounds, about 1/8” thick

Line a microwave-safe plate with parchment paper

Working in batches, arrange apple rounds on the parchment paper in a single layer, leaving space between them

Microwave on HIGH until the edges of the apple rounds start to curl, about 4 to 5 min. (Depending how much power your microwave has.)

Flip the apples, then continue microwaving on HIGH until the edges are crisp, about 1 min

Transfer to a wire mesh rack and cool completely. Repeat with remaining apple rounds

Enjoy as-is or with your favorite fruit dip. Also great with cheese platters
