Directions
1
Preheat the oven to 400.° Arrange the bacon on a small baking sheet and sprinkle with cayenne. Bake until crisp, flipping halfway through, about 15 to 18 min
2
Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Once cool, finely chop the bacon
3
Meanwhile, brush both sides of the tortillas lightly with oil, then stack the tortillas and cut the stack into 6 wedges. Arrange the tortilla wedges on a baking sheet in a single layer
4
Bake, turning once, until crisp and golden brown, about 10 to 12 min. Remove from oven and sprinkle with salt. Set aside to cool
5
Combine chopped avocados with lime juice and about 1/4 tsp. of salt. Mash together with a fork. Stir in the jalapeño, cilantro and half of the bacon
6
Taste and adjust the seasonings. Scatter the remaining bacon over the guacamole and garnish with some chopped cilantro. Serve at once with the chips
