Customers say
Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with many reviewers saying their dogs eagerly ate the food and some reported no noticeable stomach issues after switching. However, there are clear pockets of disappointment—several dogs refused to eat it, and others experienced digestive problems (gas, upset stomach) or had concerns about chicken ingredients despite the beef recipe.

Comments about Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula Adult Dry Dog Food, Beef & Brown Rice Recipe, 34 lbs. Bag
Easy for our dog to digest and he never loves food in his dish. Well balanced and healthy. Our vet stated his weight and coat were perfect so stick with it. We change up the flavor between the chicken, beef and lamb. He's happy.
My fut baby loves this!

We have used BB for quite a while we typically use chicken and rice or lamb and rice. My 5 year old bull dog does well with this kibble.

We switched from Iams because our breeder and other rottweiler owners suggested Blue when I asked for suggestions to help with bad breath and gas problems. We tried Blue and there was an in immediate improvement, so we continue to feed Blue to sour dogs. I will say they do not seem to like whatever the small, dark round pebbles are. They spit them out!

When the package arrived, I just sat it on a chair as I was unable to check it out that minute. My dog Zeba must've known it was for her because she waited for me to open it. After the box was opened I could see why; it was the Blue Life Protection Formula Beef Recipe. Her tail was wagging and I swear she was licking her lips when I put it in her bowl. Zeba immediately began enjoying her food and I could see this would be on my list as her new food. Thank you so much for sending this.

My dogs loved BLUE Life Protection Formula. The smell was not too offensive either. My cat liked the smell of it, he tried to bite into the bag to eat it. So it must be pretty tasty stuff. HA!
