Unreliable filter indicator
Although I like the quality of the filtered water, the filter indicator on the lid stopped working after 9 months of use. Since the indicator is sealed, there is no access to the battery which probably died. I am going to rate this product on the low scale because I now have to guess how many gallons this device filtered, and then I have to guess when to replace the filter. It is very disappointing that a product like this is designed so poorly. I would not have minded if I could have replaced the battery, but Brita should be shamed on this design that can't be serviced.
