This variety pack of De Cecco Short Cut Italian Pasta contains six one pound boxes of imported Italian short cut pasta. There are two boxes each of Rigatoni, Cavatappi, Large Elbow. Since 1886 the De Cecco Family has held the important responsibility of conserving the tradition of quality pasta without compromise, using the same processing methods that were established over 130 years ago. This allows them to bring the genuine pleasure of Italian cuisine to tables all over the world. DeCecco crafts their pasta with bronze draw plates to guarantee the ideal porosity to best capture the sauce. The pasta is slow dried to best preserve the natural flavor and aroma of wheat and natural color of the semolina for a superior quality pasta. Coarse grain semolina flour is used in order to preserve the integrity of the gluten and obtain a pasta which is always "al dente". Cold Majella mountain water at 59 degrees is exclusively used to make the dough ensuring perfect firmness when cooked.
