Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Red Wine is dark ruby in color and is a rich, opulent Napa Valley wine. This full-bodied dry wine includes flavors such as blackberry, boysenberry and Bing cherry with nuances of milk chocolate, chocolate berry truffle dusted with cocoa powder, aromatic cedar and Herbs de Provence. Very full with a soft entry, this Cabernet Sauvignon wine has a great texture, integrated tannins and a pleasant mouth feel. The California cabernet is aged in oak barrels, resulting in a very well-integrated sweet oak spice, adding to the overall complexity. The 2021 vintage received 94 points from James Suckling in December 2023 and the 2022 vintage received 92 points from Decanter JC July 2025. Pair this dry red wine bottle with beef tenderloin grilled with Herbs de Provence or braised short ribs. Sourced from select vineyards in Napa Valley, this Cabernet wine features balanced acidity levels due to moderately warm afternoons and early morning fog.
