My two LOVE this food!!
My two fur babies, a Chug & a Chihuahua, were very finicky. Every food I tried - cheap & expensive - were simply grazed over. As soon as I put this food down - they gobbled it down and wanted more. Every time I open the bag I'm amazed by how good the food smells. My two little guys start to bug out ...

Blue material
My dog really loves your product. Recently, we found little blue material that was found in her food. Before we found this, our vet alerted us that she found blue pieces in her fecal specimen. Not knowing where it came from we checked her food. My son found a blue piece in a chunk of chicken. I am s...
Customers say
Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with many reviewers praising that their dogs like the fresh food, find it easy to serve, and show improvements in appetite or health. However, recurring problems—especially spoilage/mold, off odors/recipe changes, occasional pet illness, and higher pricing—hold back the experience for some buyers.

Our dog was on a low fat prescription dog flood after a bout of pancreatis. We ran out and asked a vet if she could eat Fresh Pet chicken food. She approved it for long term. Lots cheaper and my dog loved the change.

I started buying this for my b tiny toy poodle because she is so picky. I actually had Gracie eating it within 2weeks. I buy mine from my local grocery store. I cant believe Gracie eats it but she sure does and u can tell how much better her fur looks. Its so shiny! She plays more and she acts like she feels so much better! I am afraid to try a different kind because Gracie loves the cranberries in it. Thanks Fresh Pet

Why did you change it?

My 2 dogs have loved fresh pet, but you changed it, I am curious why, because they now hate it, won't eat it, sniff it, look at it and if they are hungry enough they will finally dive in but what happens after is awful. What was wrong with the original? The color of the food and the shape of the food has changed. Fortunately, I can still find the non improved formula at my grocery stores, but who knows for how long, so I am making a change now before that and really sad as they loved your food until you changed it. Sometimes change is good, in this case, you lost a customer. Dogs can be finicky, change doesn't go over well, and my babies are what matters most, so going to Farmers Dog.
