For a relaxing experience on longer commutes, the built-in cruise control will keep the Journey at a constant speed without throttle pressure. Pressing the throttle down two times quickly activates cruise control. The 36V lithium-ion battery efficiently drives power to the motor, providing ample speed on demand and smooth ascent over inclines. It fully charges in 5 hours and lasts for up to 16 miles of riding. The Journey comes with an LCD that includes a speedometer, battery indicator and icons for high-speed mode, cruise control, and the headlight when activated. The LED headlight and taillight help keep you safe while riding during low-visibility conditions, and the rear disc brake brings the Journey to a complete stop quickly and safely while remaining stable. The Journey is UL2272 certified, meaning that it has been tested to applicable standards and deemed safe by a third party organization.
