Inconsistent
When the bread is fresh it's excellent - Texture, Taste, Value. However, it's hit or miss with the freshness. This goes for the rolls,also. Dates are not an indicator of freshness as some of the later expiration dates are on loaves that are not soft at all. I wonder if they are previously frozen?

Fresh soft, tasty, and priced right! Finding challah bread in RI can be challenging. Both the plain and raisin challahs were far superior to challahs I have purchased for significantly more money.

Challah comes two in a package, which is perfect. One for to be used now and one for the freezer. The challah is bakery quality. Much better than any I have purchased in a supermarket. They are kosher and Parve.

Moist, not overly sweet, holding firm shape even after being soaked in egg and milk mixture - i could not find better quality challah for French toast! Just add some fruits and maple syrup for ultimate treat!!
