Cute and quaint, but able to handle a load.
The 7.2 Convertible upright freezer is small enough, not to take up a lot of space; however, it really holds a lot of items. I am a bulk buyer however, my apartment does not allow for a whole lot of room. I was able to fit this item into my space perfectly. The freezer has allowed me to stock quite ...

Bad motor
Got brand new from store. Placed in garage. Once refrigerator kicks in, immediately stops working. Now I need to get truck to send it back
Customers say
Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with reviewers praising strong cooling performance, quiet operation, and good storage capacity for smaller spaces. The main drawback is a rare but serious reliability issue where the unit stops working soon after installation.

Comments about Midea 7.1 Cu. Ft. Convertible Upright Freezer or Refrigerator
I bought this upright to be used as a freezer but it's an added bonus that it can be used as a refrigerator if I want. It runs very quietly and freezes exceptionally well and is the right size for me.

Great appliance

I purchased this freezer for my daughter who needed extra freezer space. It is the perfect size and holds a great deal of food. It runs efficiently and does not increase the electric bill. Also, the assistance from a club employee was fantastic. He helped get this from the store to my car.
Perfect Size Freezer

Purchased this freezer for all my garden veges that will soon be "put up". I did not need a refrigerator at all. I did not want an upright freezer. Just wondering how long before I have to defrost it manually.
Great Freezer

Good So Far

Only had it about two weeks, but it seems to be working well so far. It does make a weird noise after you open and shut, but I think its just the compressor kicking on. Have only used it as a freezer, not as a fridge so I can't comment on that.
