Ocean Spray gets Lazy
We often purchase Ocean Spray cranberries for holiday meals. This year, we tried this big bag and prepared half the bag the same way we'd prepare a single bag that is typically found at any other grocery. We gave the cranberries a quick rinse, like normal, and prepared our homemade cranberry sauce...

Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with many reviewers praising the cranberries’ firm, fresh quality, great flavor for baking and cooking, and usefulness for freezing. A smaller number of reviews report issues like rotten berries, mushiness, or stems/leaves that require sorting.

I use fresh cranberries in smoothies, salads, desserts, as a side for my poultry and meats, etc. This is my second year purchasing this item. I purchased 3 or 4 packages immediately to take my through my Fall and holiday dishes.

Excellent quality & freahness. I bought two bags of these cranberries & out of the 2 bags, there were maybe 8 that weren't good. Definitely recommend these & were way cheaper then the smaller bags at regular grocery stores.

I make my own cranberry sauce and a cranberry oatmeal breakfast. All so delicious. I freeze them and give as gifts. Also would make great garland threaded on a string.
Best for making whole cranberry sauce

I love whole cranberry sauce made with oranges and apples. My husband is a chef and I eat it by the bowl when I can get good cranberries. This large bag is a good buy and makes enough for me for a week…yeah I eat a lot of it. One of my favorite foods. These Ocean Spray are good quality and would also be a good amount for Thanksgiving.
