Excellent protection cold or hot
This oil is extremely well rounded and worth the extra cost over almost all other synthetics. It is a fair deal at Walmart for 28.68$ / 5qt jug however, I wouldn't pay 10$ a quart for it at the local auto parts store. I have a 2012 Genesis Coupe 2.0T with 141,000 miles on it and counting. I have use...

Oil did not look good when changed after 10 months
I used Mobile 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 for the first time. We reached 15,000 miles in 10 months. The oil was black, of course, that is to be expected. What wasn't expected is the viscosity was thick. So I will either go back to regular mobile 1 and 7,500 miles or try again at 12,000 mile. I have...
Customers say
Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with many reviewers trusting Mobil 1 for strong engine protection, reliable performance across vehicles/equipment, and good value during sales. Still, a smaller set of reviews raise concerns about extended-life claims (shorter-than-expected mileage), possible gunk buildup/thick viscosity, compatibility/installation issues, and a few severe failures or oil-quantity discrepancies.

Change oil in car motor. Get motor upto runing temperature. Once it get cool enough to remove to drain plug. Do so and catch in a pan. Remove the oil filter and replace with new filter. Put the plug back in. Fill engine with oil to fullmark on dip stick. Take used oil to recycle station.
Top Quality and can't beat the sale price!!!!!

Bought this for my 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty. I have always liked and trusted Mobil 1 oil and when I saw it on sale, I had to get it. Unfortunately, it was not in stock at my home club in Fredericksburg, Va. This was my first time ordering online and having it shipped to my house. This made it super easy and combined with the laundry sanitizer, also out of stock at my home club, the shipping was free. This oil is top quality and perfect for my truck.
