Efficient way to monitor your pool's chemicals.
I tried different products for monitoring my pool chemicals such as pH, chlorine levels, and alkalinity, and the best product so far is the "My Pool Care Assistant" from Clorox. It is really easy and simple to use, just dip the Smart Strip in the pool (about 1 to 1.5 feet deep) and compare the resul...

Easy to use
I liked the idea of not having to take a water sample somewhere. It took some getting used to using the strips. It doesn't specify in the instructions if it should be read in direct light or shade, so where ever you read it keep it that way. My strips always show my PH @ 6.8 and alkalinity @ 180ppm ...
Customers say
Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with many reviewers praising how the strips make pool chemical balancing easier and faster. However, a recurring theme is that the phone app experience and scan reliability are inconsistent (including app availability/history issues and occasional accuracy problems versus pool-store or liquid tests), and some reviewers find the recommended readings can lead to incorrect chemical dosing.

These strips are super easy to use! They really help with keeping the chemicals right where they should be! And it's great you can use the app in conjunction with those strips. I use these strips each week to know if I need to add other chemicals to the pool or not.

So convenient to use because not only do they save me visually estimating the readings (though you can spot verify), but it also records the readings in the Clorox Pool app. This way I can compare readings and treatments to gauge effectiveness and what I might need to use more or less of. The app will also take input on your pool size and reccomend what and how much of what to add in order to get the proper level. Image is from before opening this year so yeah it's not a good look YET.
Just dip and maintain

The smart strips make maintaining your pool so easy. Just a quick dip, use the app to analyze, and you get quick answer as to what your pool needs and how much of it to use. This is so much easier than using the drops that change color and then you have to figure out what to use. Just dip and maintain
