This offset fire box solved my issue of not being able to control and manage smoker temp. After assembling and retrofitting it to my upright smoker, it allowed me to produce and maintain a more consistent smoking temp. Since installing the Fire box, I have smoked a spatchcock chicken and a bourbon meatloaf. Fire management was much easier and both smkoes were delicious.

I like the construction of this grill and the fact that I can take it with me or move it around my yard/porch as needed. I can say it is heavy enough and you can use charcoal or wood. I wanted it for a Pizza over and make breads. This will work fine. Very sturdy and big enough for me. And it will sit on my outdoor metal table perfectly. Haven't used it yet - the winter weather hasn't been agreeable to do so

Assembly was easy and took less than 30 minutes, although I did need to make a few minor adjustments. Had to slightly bend the corners of the drawer that pulls out in order to make everything flush when the drawer is fully closed, and to the side shelf inside that holds the cast iron grates so one of the grates would stop teetering from corner to corner. Seasoned the inside and all the grates multiple times. Smoked some chicken and the result were great! The housing is nice and thick, Heavy duty IMO. I will take great care of it and hopefully it lasts several years. Love it!
