Decent fan, Oscillation is NOT remote control
Picked this up a couple of weeks ago (May 2025). Decent enough fan for a pedestal style. I find it a bit on the loud side at lowest speed, but a few notches up on the TV volume and I'm good to go. Simple enough to put together. My major complaint is that the oscillator is NOT a part of the remote ...

Flimsy Product
Really disappointed with quality of the product - All plastic, except the motor part, assembly is bit pain, Not sure how long this would last!!!, Registration is a PAIN @lasko.com Please look else where or see the product out of the box first to buy!!
Customers say
Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with many reviewers highlighting strong airflow, easy setup, and the convenience of a remote and multiple speeds. That said, a noticeable minority report durability/fit issues—especially height adjustment slipping, noisier operation than expected, and concerns that the build quality or oscillation/controls feel like a step back.

Comments about Lasko 18" Oscillating Pedestal Fan with Remote Control - Black
Our pedestal fan with remote died and it was still hot. Thankfully BJ's had plenty. I wished I could have gotten white, but it works so it's okay. It's a little noisy but we were desperate for a fan.
