I have had three different waffle irons because the first wouldn't make waffles properly - not the shape, cooking evenly. All three were failures as far as a uniform brownness. I have owned this waffle iron for many years and used it weekly. When it started to lose power, I bought this new one. It works perfectly. At first, I set the temperature too high and got crispy waffles. After a few tries, I adjusted the temperature and the waffles now come out golden and cooked through to a medium firmness.

I bought this in April, made a few waffles yet I have to watch carbs in my diet. This past weekend I made a cornbread waffle to go with some Taco Chili Mac and today I made a Waffle Cheeseburger. The buns are made by St Pierre. I added the grill marks instead of pan toasting them in butter.
