Normally, when you see advertisements for vacuums saying, "Made to clean pet hair" you say to yourself, "Yeah, right! I am sure it is until you have to remove the tangled hair from the roller!" Well, guess what! This product not only cleans very, very well, it absolutely left no hair on the roll...

Parts missing or don't fit together
I am rather disappointed; I own another two Dyson products and they perform very well. The V11 power plug doesn't fit the vacuum charger, and several of the attachments are missing. Easily the worst Dyson purchase ever. Customer Service have left me hanging since Christmas without resolution.

Comments about Dyson V11 Cordless Vacuum
This vacuum is great on hardwood floors and does a fantastic job on pet hair/dander. It's not good on rugs or carpet—it slows to a stop. It also has to be partially disassembled to empty the tank. I'm pleased with the wall mount and charging station. I was also disappointed that it does not have a light, and that the trigger has to be held down the entire time it's on. These two were able to be fixed with aftermarket attachments, but very disappointed with the lack of these two simple items. The corded shark vacuum I've had for a very long time was a much better design.

Best cordless vacuum ever only wish that I didn't have to hold the button down I have Arthritic hands making it difficult to vacuum for long periods of time. I can vacuum my whole house, never runs out of battery power and I love 3 suction choices.

I like that it's lightweight. It picks up dirt from carpet and floors nicely. I do not like you have to keep your finger on red switch to operate.

Third time is the lucky charm. I already have this model at my home and office. I purchased a third one for our vacation home based on my past experience with the other two machines. I love the light weight, low noise level, and overall cleaning ability.

I bought this Dyson V11 vacuum for my downstairs because it has hardwood floors and we have a dog that gets walked four times a day. I was pleasantly surprised that it did as well, as good my 24 year old full Dyson cleans. The longevity of that vacuum led me to consider the cordless for downstairs. I got it on sale and paid about as much for it as the first one. I love how the tools are quickly changed, and it also makes it so easy to empty the canister. It does have a limited battery time, but if you do a quick cleanup everyday or every other day it's not a problem. The Ecoclean power is great for the hardwood floors, I switch to normal for the rugs. I just boost power once, but I really haven t found a need for its use yet, so I'm glad it's there. I love my Dyson vacuums.

I love love love my x cordless Dyson. Suction is better than any previous cordless vacuum I've owned. I am vacuuming a large home and battery lasts through every use, so far. The four starts are for two reasons: I wish there was a light on the motor bar. I'm quite surprised there's not. And detaching the stick from the handheld motor takes some effort. I will be contacting Dyson about the second issue bc it doesn't seem right to struggle separating the two - my daughters Dyson does not have same issue. Highly recommend!
