Stopped Working After 18 Months
So I had a Navigator when they first came out. Heavy. But it picked up the pet hair better than my Oreck. After 8 years, it was time to replace the old Navigator. I've had this model, NV360, for approximately 2 years Loved it except for the disgusting way one must empty it and wash out the filter...
Customers say
Overall sentiment is genuinely mixed, with many reviewers praising strong suction and good cleaning on hard floors and carpet, but a recurring pattern of reliability and usability problems. Several complaints describe brush-roll failures, weak maneuverability, difficult maintenance/access to the brush/belt, and parts that break or overheat, while others report the vacuum staying strong after years of use.

I'm a little disgusted

The amount of dirt this got out of my carpet BLEW my mind. My carpets were just professionally cleaned and it still got an absolutely INSANE amount! I told my husband I thought it was getting dirt from below our foundation which is under our basement so a full floor away! HAHA!
Works great, but the cord could be longer

I'm really happy with how well this shark vacuum performs, it has fantastic suction power and works great and both carpet and hardwood. My only complaint is that the power cord is quite short compared with other vacuums I have owned in the past.
These vacuums really suck!

I love the shark vacuums! they really suck! I have them for each of our properties, and 2 in the house we live in! The first one I got is still in use...about 15 years ago.
Great Vacuum

I bought this second hand because I've heard good things about the Shark brand of vacuums and I'm glad I did. It works wonderfully and has all the features you could ask for with a vacuum. The detachment feature (lift-away) is easy to use and the adjustable suction level is amazing for my different rugs. Reading some of the reviews I was a bit skeptical, but after using the vacuum myself I've realized that some people need to learn to read the manual when getting a new product. It maneuvers nicely around corners and under tables and chairs. The filters are easy to remove and clean. I will admit that I with there were a few more attachments but I've made due with what it comes with.

It's fine I guess

It works ok, I do like that it isn't stupidly heavy and I like the suction setting so I don't have to fight my carpets to clean them. The biggest problem is the carpet roller is a NIGHTMARE to clean. I am pulling the hair from it, ripping it out, but cannot easily just remove the roller to clean it without taking the entire thing apart with a screw driver! And with how impossible and glitchy the website is, I don't even know if there is an easier way to clean it because I can't get the user manual to download. So, it's fine I guess but could be a whole lot better...
Excessive suction!

I bought this vacuum because I was looking for one that had great suction. The suction was so strong that I couldn't push it! Wouldn't recommend this vacuum at all! I returned it and got my money back!
