A nice machine, with limitations that keep it from being ...
Caveat: I purchased this system on behalf of a friend who wanted technical help with buying it. This is a nice machine, especially for the price of purchase. The problem is its lack of upgradability. This would be fine if you thought that your needs wouldn't ever change or that your system wouldn't...

Worst laptop I have ever owned. Takes 20 minutes to turn on then 20 minutes just to open a web page. 20 minutes for each thing u try to do... 99%of the time it crashes and u have to redo what u were working on. Spend more time waiting for things to open and work then I do actually doing things on t...

Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with several reviewers highlighting fast boot/performance and good value for school or everyday tasks. However, a recurring cluster of setup, compatibility, and hardware/comfort issues—especially Wi‑Fi/log-in friction, missing documentation or charger, limited ports (no Ethernet), and occasional display/boot problems—pulls the experience down for some buyers.

HP 17.3" Touchscreen Laptop
Verified Buyer
Does all the things a PC should do. Great picture for streaming. Touchscreen is responsive. Dimensions are smaller than my previous laptop even though the screen size is the same. Quite satisfied.
A real value

This Laptop is a wonderful piece of technology. The large screen is really cool to watch movies and videos. The data transfer is made very simple.

I love HP computers. They automatically gather information from your previous computer so you don't have to try to remember all the sites, user names and passwords. This computer having touch screen is a very nice thing, it makes it easy to navigate.

I am at home all day and use this to read the news, Facebook and play some games. It works perfect for me. One thing I really like is it copies files and sites from my other HP computer so I don't have to recreate anything.

I have been looking for a replacement to our home computer. When I started comparing models in came down to the HP because of the features and price. Look the touch screen and the ease to do the setup. It has blazing speed and the 17" screen is great. I saved about 50 dollars by purchasing it at BJ's. We are completely satisfied with the purchase.
