I have tried every kind of pimento cheese spread that I have found all throughout the country. After discovering Palmetto, every other brand is a disappointment. It's like trying a cheesesteak outside of Pennsylvania: it might be ok, but deep down you know you're just going to be let down and unsati...

Bad taste. called the mfg in nashville, let my number, was told I'd get a call back but never did. Way too hard to speak to anyone at their number. was transferred around 4 or 5 times and each time was told no one was available and would call me back. Will never buy their brand of anything again...

I've tried many different kinds of pimento cheese at many different price points and Palmetto Cheese is the clear winner on all fronts. It is much thicker with larger chunks of cheese than the cheapest pimento cheeses but it is not ridiculously priced either. Many of the other brands are either too liquid-y and/or too sweet for me. Every time I try a different brand, I end up regretting *not* just getting the Palmetto brand. I prefer the Original variety because they add plenty of pimento to give it a nice kick (however, my wife prefers the Jalapeño version because she like spicier food)
