Most amazing tv with brilliant features
I absolutely love this television. We already had a small one that I put in the kitchen to help our child with his homework, but this one supersedes my expectations. I immediately replaced our little one with this one. Although the little one was effective, it was very dim. The sound quality was oka...

Underpowered CPU, dodgy Bluetooth.
This TV can't keep up with serving the demands of Bluetooth. It's constantly dropping out as it struggles to keep up even with a 5 GHz WiFi connection. A quick web search reveals this is the way they build them - super cheap and underpowered. Gonna return mine under the warranty. Otherwise it's a de...

Overall sentiment is strongly positive, with reviewers highlighting a vivid, crisp picture, a fast and easy Roku experience, and immersive backlit/ambilight-style lighting that matches on-screen content. The main issues called out are limited audio performance without an external soundbar and occasional connectivity/reliability concerns (notably Bluetooth).

I bought this tv for my elderly dad. The color quality, large screen, and sound have made his game day much more exciting for him. He loves the backlight and says it adds to the overall experience. My only negative is the placement of the power chord. It is right in the middle of the box where you put the wall mount. This made mounting the tv to the wall difficult.

Comments about Philips 55" 7875 Ambilight UHD 4K Roku Smart TV with 4-Year Coverage
Neat effect to have the ambient lighting that matches the colors that are on the screen. It does make the TV slightly thicker than a normal screen without led lights. Awesome picture and ROKU tv is the easiest to use. #Sweepstakes

Comments about Philips 65" 7985 Ambilight QLED Roku Smart TV with 4-Year Coverage
I have no complaints about my purchase. I don't game at all so it's strictly for tv and movies. Picture is great, and the ambilight is something I never knew I needed but it does add a little something to the viewing experience. Feels like an indulgence purchase without the indulgence price!

Not worth buying!!

I love this tv! I find myself watching the color change on the wall instead of watching the show I've on.
Very surprised by the the ambilights!

Didn't even realize it came with them. Price drew me in as well as product reviews on the clarity for an entry tv.
Outstanding Television

I waited a bit before posting this just to really get the feel for this TV. Overall: Outstanding. Choice of OS is my preferred, especially with the Roku wireless speakers/sub. Visually this panel is great. The backlight, while not shattering any records, is bright enough for almost all situations beside direct sunlight. Even in a bright colored room with lots of natural light pouring in, the picture was contrast-y and dynamic. The ambient lighting is one of my favorite features. I wish the wall color calibration were a bit more advanced (eg. different color per strip, split into 6 segments, etc.) but even just leaving it at default is fine. Device is snappy, storage is quick leading to fast opens, and has enough of it that no offloading needs to occur. I bought a 43" just to test it out and will be coming back for another once the larger TV goes. One drawback is the loss of the AmbiScape features compared to the EU Ambilight line.
