    A nice TV with AI issues

    It really is a nice TV with a good picture and for the most part the good picture is enhanced by it AI capabilities. We use it with premium Netflix for better definition. But I did notice something that forces me to give 3 starts. If yo are going to market the AI part heavily it needs to work better...

    Easy setup overall. System generally recognizes components but I gave up on the WiFi connection as even though the tv was next to the WiFi source, it would regularly lose connection...so hard wired now. I like the picture quality overall. it meets my expectations. I had read about two issues with the newer (and this is a 2026 model) Samsung's. First, the very small controller if expanded by a fraction, would be much easier to use. Second, Samsung experience and AI are useless advertising vehicles... watch 50% ads and 50% content. I would remove it if I could. I've used the competitors interface and it was worse which tipped me to Samsung.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

    Contrast: Flesh tones washed out Responsiveness: very quick Glare: Sometimes outside sunlight afffects the ability to see as the details of a dark scene. Brightness: like contrast, flesh tones are washed out. Uniformity: very uniform across screen.

    The colors are bright and bold. In somewhat ewer movies and TV shows, the greens, reds, and blues really stand out and are bold. The blacks have different tones to them instead of a uniform black. In older shows and movies, the wires and stage props are shown but those weren't meant for high depth viewing. while also having a Samsung phone, The phone smart shares and responds to the link quick and easy. I even have a near 15 year old Samsung Blue Ray that was recognized immediately when plugged in. I have the TV in an area of my house that gets a lot of sun during the day, yet there is no glare across the screen.

    The tv does NOT produce flesh tones accurately. Faces appear washed out on Caucasians and Black subjects appear very light. Tried different settings to no avail.

    It's a beautiful clear TV however in the mode of AI, the color is way too harsh and bright. I noticed I was getting headaches and my eyes hurt. I turned it to movie mode and was able to enjoy the TV. Little disappointing.
