Sleek, Well Weighted Tape Dispenser
My new office needed an updated tape dispenser, this one does the job perfectly, it's sleek and a nice color and is still weighted well so it can easily be used one handed, which is one reason I hadn't changed out my old beat up boring black one. It does take up a little more space on my desk which,...

I recently purchased two of these dispensers, one for the office and one for home. They look great and were reasonably priced. I was so anxious to put them into service, I even broke open hand held dispensers to get the tape rolls for my new desktop models. Big Mistake. First of all they do not weig...
Customers say
Overall sentiment is mostly positive, with many reviewers praising how well the dispenser holds tape, cuts cleanly, and stays put thanks to weight and non-slip feet. The main recurring drawbacks are blade/ cutting performance issues for some units and lack of replacement blade inserts, which pushes users toward replacing the whole dispenser when the blade dulls.

Very sturdy, great price and works as it should.
Inside broke on first use

After the first use, the insert that holds the tape inside broke. I was able to fix it, but the product should have held up past the first use
No replacement blade—so wasteful!

I've used these for years and see them all over the place in schools as the classic tape dispenser. I was SHOCKED to find out there are no replacement blades. I know they are cheap but this is so wasteful! Scotch should be embarrassed at how environmentally unfriendly these products are. In fact, I'd be willing to pay as much for a blade as I did the product knowing I was not wasting an entire dispenser every time I need a new blade. Won't be purchasing any more of these. I'll encourage my school district to do the same.

Great

This tape dispenser is a lifesaver. So much easier than trying to hold a spool of tape and tear it while hoping something else in place.
Newer is not always better!

We purchased this dispenser, for home, as an aid for wrapping (Christmas) presents as opposed to the small clear plastic multipack tape dispenser rolls. The cutter does not seem to be set correctly or it isn't sharp enough to cut the tape. Almost always had to use two hands to get a piece of tape, one to hold the tape and one to hold the dispenser so it didn't move. I have an older C15 dispenser at work and it is a much better product!

Decent Tape Dispenser
Verified Buyer
Does exactly what it's advertised to do: dispense tape. Came with a roll and most BJs clubs have bulk refills above it too. #sweepstakes
So needed!
Verified Buyer
After many years the old tape dispenser had seen better days!! It was heavier than the new one but being lighter just makes it easier to handle and move when needed!
Just what I needed
