The serving bowl is beautiful and not heavy so easy to transport. The serving utensils are disappointing and I had to throw away. The finishing on the serving pieces were rough.

I purchased the first one and it cracked within a week. I exchanged it and I have had no issues with my second one. It's very light, very easy to clean, and overall I love it.

    Great Bowl; Horrible Utensils

The salad bowl is great - it looks nice & won't stain with the ceramic lining. However, the wooden utensils are cheaply made and weren't even finished (still had wood shavings on them, weren't sanded).

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Nice item, however was missing a spoon. I was really disappointed because it was a Christmas gift for a family member. I attempted to return it but, was unable to do so because it was shipped out of state.
