Ingredients
Directions
1
In a large bowl add all of the ingredients except the chicken and mix to form a paste
2
Add the chicken and massage. Place in the fridge and let it marinate overnight. If you do not have time to marinate it overnight 3-4 hours would be sufficient enough but I highly recommend marinating it overnight
3
After 24 hours remove the chicken from the fridge and let it come to room temperature before cooking. Make sure to soak 4 skewers in water if you are using the wooden ones
4
Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers
5
Stove-Top Method: Place a pan on medium heat and coat with some oil. Grill skewers for 5-8 minutes per side until cooked through and the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F/74°C
6
Oven Method: Preheat oven to 425°F/218°C. Place the skewers, evenly spread on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-8 minutes per side. Turn the oven to broil and broil until the tops are lightly charred, cooked through and the internal the temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F/74°C
