Details

The most vibrant expression of Tempranillo from Rioja that shows fresh red fruit characteristics and a slight vanilla character from its ageing for four months in American oak. On the palate it is perfumed, soft and fresh with a long finish with memories of red fruit, vanilla and cocoa. Campo Viejo was established in 1959, the current winery opened in 2001. The winery is located 100 meters above Logrono, in the Rioja region of Spain, and is partially built underground and integrated into the landscape. It is the first Spanish winery to be certified as Zero Carbon Footprint, and is staffed a fully female winemaker team.
