The Cherry Pie founder was inspired by his grandmother's baking and the artwork of TR Colletta, the specific piece was a painting of a juicy, mouthwatering hot-out-of-the-oven cherry pie was the perfect visual to pair with Cherry Pie wines. If you look closely, in the very middle of the pie you will see an image of a woman dancing with joy-which expresses our love for Pinot Noir. Combining three counties, each in its own AVA, Cherry Pie Pinot Noir showcases the best of each county's unique flavor profile; 39% San Luis Obispo, 37% Santa Barbara, 24% Napa, Carneros. The 2021 Tri-County Pinot Noir showcases a beautiful garnet gem color in the glass with aromas of red plum, dried black cherry, mocha and a touch of cedar. On the palate, it displays the classic fresh coastal acidity that our three regions provide, along with peppery herbs and savory black fruits. Carried by a well-developed tannic structure, the silky finish rounds out this medium bodied wine. Pair with wood fired mushroom pizza, prosciutto wrapped pork tenderloin, or Tagliatelle pasta with truffle sauce.
