Holy WOW, Great Beans!

I always keep these beans in my kitchen. I prefer Goya Pinto Beans when I'm planning on chili night or going to make something that calls for beans in a recipe. This is a no-brainer, I always reach for Goyas. They are not as seasoned as other beans leaving me with a clean slate to work with in t...he kitchen. These are simple and well cooked, plain jane beans that let my recipes' seasoning and spices shine through without any interference which is what you should want when creating in the kitchen. The cans are well packed- they are full of beans so if the can says 15.5 ounces, that's always been mostly beans and not a lot of dead space other than what the canning calls for. They come in a clear liquid but that's just what's needed, and they are easy to drain. I generally will rinse off anything I get in a can to get the salt and other things off the product. The beans always look great, like they've been sorted and picked through very carefully, and cooked well without mashing a lot of them. The can doesn't settle much which is great, especially if I need mashing, I prefer to just do it myself for a recipe. In my pantry, I know I can always count on Goya for cooking because it's dependable and always tastes great. I received a sample free to try in return for my honest opinion & review.
