I have thankfully and gladly used OLAY Moisturizer Lotion (prior to and since you created the Sensitive version or added SPF) for about 50 years. I am so incredibly sad and disappointed with the new (2026) formula. As the day goes by, my face feels more and more greasy/oily. Please bring the old formula back, or at least make both the older and newer available, to give us previously satisfied users the choice of product. Until then, I'll have to find a different company that provides a suitable moisturizer. [Also sad - I have stock in P & G and have been quick to let others know of the quality and efficacy of the OLAY Moisturizer Lotion!]

New formula is awful

This was my go to daily moisturizer for years and years. I loved it! The new formulation is AWFUL. It is thin and watery, yet leaves a greasy film on my face. By mid morning this stuff has made it into my eyes and it stings like the Dickens! For the rest of the day my eyes are burning and tearing up. Now I need to find a new daily lotion. I am so disappointed.

You may also prefer a lighter option, like an Olay Whip moisturizer, which provides hydration with a light, non-greasy finish. I bought this version of this lotion not knowing the formula had changed. I have been using the old version since I was little. My mom used it, my grandmother used it, my great grandmother used it. As it stands now, I will discontinue use and my kids and their kids kids will never use Olay this because it no longer works well. Had the formula stayed the same it would have continued to be a generational product. Without realizing the formula changed, I noticed the product was thicker. It smeared onto my face with just a small amount and would not absorb the way the old formula does. I didn't like it but I kept using it anyway. I've been using this version for months now and the results are NOT GOOD. My face has red blotches, looks uneven, has more acne, and I've started to develop premature wrinkles! It's been in my family for 4 generations because it used to do the opposite of this! I am deeply upset! Because I didn't realize it had changed for a while, I started feeling worse about how my face looked thinking it was other things when really my family brand had changed without so much of a notice...I was unable to stock up on the old product and now for the sake of my skin health will need to switch to a competitor brand. I don't want to honestly. I had been looking forward to sharing this "secret" face care product with my own children one day. Please change it back or at the very least give customers the option of choosing in stores.

O stars obviously. After the many years I (and many others) have spent loyally purchasing and using the original version of this product, how could you betray us like this? Are you dumb?? You not only ruined an amazing product, but you destroyed any trust your loyal customers ever had in your company and products. Who is going to want to buy any of your products if they can't trust that at any moment, the formula of the product they once loved and used daily for many years, could be changed and ruined. Why change a good thing to begin with? Why not change it back after seeing that the change was obviously horrible and negatively affected so many of your loyal customers? Whoever decided it was a good idea is obviously dumb. Even if you change it back now, how can anyone trust it to not be changed again later? Who would want to invest in something like that? I had used this lotion since elementary school because my mom had used it for many years. Then suddenly, over 10 years later, the formula is changed. I did not even realize it at first when I bought it, but when I put it on I immediately noticed a difference. My eyes and face burned within MINUTES and it smelled like strong sunscreen (it never did before). I took it off right away and tried to put my regular skincare on that night, but my face was so chemically burned from this new formulation of Olay "sensitive" SPF 15 lotion that everything I put on after it made my face sting and hurt. Even now, a few years after it was changed, my face is still messed up from this formula change. It never recovered and has been super sensitive and red ever since then. Thanks a lot, Olay. I do not recommend purchasing this product, or any of the Olay products, unless you want to suffer and experience a lifetime of regret and disappointment. I guess I, along with many others, won't be passing this on to any of my future kids, either. Olay will be missing out on generations of current and future loyal customers due to this ridiculous formula change. Congratulations on being one of the dumbest companies out there.

I've used Olay Complete Lotion Sensitive with spf 15 for several weeks now. I love the lightweight milky texture. This moisturizer sinks into my skin without leaving a white cast. It also plays well with makeup. I like that it's formulated with a Vitamin E antioxidant complex and aloe to keep my skin hydrated.
