The precooking is a thermal and mechanical process to achieve the gelatinization of the starch, which gives the finished corn meal the ability to absorb water and form dough Pre-cooked corn flour is enriched with niacin, thiamin riboflavin, folic acid and iron (in accordance with 21 CFR 137.260). The precooked corn meal odor and taste characteristics can be fresh, neutral, roasted, or that of stored corn. The packaging material is made with bioriented polypropylene (BOPP) and a clear opening polyethylene (PE) sealing layer. Each of the materials that make up the structure and the plant where it is manufactured, have FDA approvals . P.A.N. pre-cooked corn meal is a unique product made of pure corn.
