If I’m reselling, do I need a business membership?
No. BJ’s does not require a separate business membership. Anyone with a standard BJ’s membership can purchase items for personal use or resale.
However, if you’re buying for a business, you may be able to register your tax-exempt status with BJ’s to avoid paying sales tax on eligible purchases.
What are BJ’s rewards, how do they work?
Club+ members earn 2% back in rewards on most BJ’s purchases, including many in-club and online purchases.

ExpressPay lets members scan items with the BJ’s app while shopping and skip the checkout line.
Members can add digital coupons directly to their BJ’s membership through the BJ’s app or on BJs.com. When you check out in-club or online, the savings are automatically applied to eligible items—no clipping required.
The BJ’s app helps members shop faster and save more with features like digital coupons, ExpressPay, price check, product location, and shopping lists.
Are discounted memberships available?
Yes. BJ’s offers special membership discounts for select groups, including teachers, military members, first responders, healthcare workers, students, and other qualifying groups.
Does BJ’s membership auto-renew?
Yes. BJ’s memberships are set to auto-renew each year so you don’t lose access to your membership benefits.
You can turn auto-renew off anytime in your account settings if you prefer to renew manually.
Once I join, can I add people to my account?
Yes. Every BJ’s membership includes one additional household member at no extra cost.
That person receives their own membership card and can shop in-club or online.
